Giga Vibe Run ("the Game") is operated by Eduards Ruzga ("we", "us", "our"). This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our game at gigavibe.run.

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you sign in with Google via Supabase authentication, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We use this to create and manage your game account.

Game Data: We store your high scores, game replays, gameplay statistics, and preferences associated with your account.

Analytics Data: With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4) to collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, session duration, device type, approximate location (country/city level), and in-game events (game starts, scores, play duration). This data is processed by Google under their privacy policy.

Payment Information: Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card details. Stripe handles payment data under their privacy policy. We receive only confirmation of payment status and subscription details.

Local Storage: We store your high scores, player name, game settings, and cookie preferences locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you have an account.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and maintain the game experience
To store and display your high scores and leaderboard rankings
To save and play back game replays
To process subscription payments
To understand how players use the game and improve it (analytics)
To display advertisements (for non-subscribers)

3. Advertising

Non-subscribers may see advertisements served by third-party ad networks. These networks may use cookies and similar technologies to serve relevant ads. Subscribers with an active paid plan do not see ads.

4. Cookies

We use cookies for:

Essential: Authentication session, cookie consent preference
Analytics (opt-in): Google Analytics cookies (_ga, _gid) to understand game usage
Advertising (opt-in): Third-party ad cookies for non-subscribers

You can manage your cookie preferences at any time using the cookie settings available on the game page.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:

Google: Analytics data (with your consent) and authentication
Stripe: Payment processing for subscriptions
Supabase: Database hosting for accounts, scores, and replays
Ad networks: Anonymized data for ad serving (non-subscribers only)

6. Data Retention

Account data and game data are retained for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. Analytics data is retained for 14 months per Google Analytics defaults.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to or restrict processing
Data portability
Withdraw consent at any time

8. Children's Privacy

The Game is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us.

9. Security

We use industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, secure authentication via OAuth, and Stripe's PCI-compliant payment processing. However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure.

10. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify users of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date.
